Spider Man: Homecoming - First Official Trailer

IMG: Sony Pictures / Marvel Studios

Like Spidey, I'm finally swinging back into action and what better way to do it than with the release of the first official trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man film which is set to hit theaters next year (2017).

With the renewed interest for more Spider-Man after his show-stealing appearance in Captain America: Civil War, the wait for a new spidey film is almost over.
So, feast your eyes on the ALL NEW, SPECTACULAR, and AMAZING first official trailer for the newest iteration of your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

If there were any doubts as to how intertwined the worlds of Spider-Man (Sony Pictures) and the Avengers (Marvel Studios) were going to be, rest easy as they seem to be more connected than just a cameo here or there.
In the first official trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming, we can see obviously, that Tony Stark is still kind of keeping tabs on Peter. While it could be that he is just there to give him advice on what to do, or not to do, on his quest to become a hero, he could very well be there because of ulterior motives. One of them being, Chitauri technology, i.e. weapons that might have been recovered from the Battle of New York and possibly sold in the black market to be reverse-engineered by people with not so good intentions. As we can see from at beginning of the trailer, the "plasma-cutter" has a somewhat relative look to the weapons used by the Chitauri, not only that but the cannon used by the very menacing Vulture (Michael Keaton) to blast through the cruise ship does as well. Also, could the Vulture's wings/suit be powered by the same kind of tech that is powering those weapons? It kind of seems like it.
How bad is the Vulture by the way? From the looks of things, bad enough that Iron Man and Spider-Man seem like they have to team up to take him down. Stay tuned and find out when the film releases in cinemas on July 17, 2017.

BONUS:

There is also an international trailer with new footage that was released after the trailer above premiered on Jimmy Kimmel Live, check it out.

Starring

Tom Holland: Peter Parker / Spider-Man

Choose A Side And Watch The Newest Trailer for Captain America: Civil War

Image via: amanupputurii

The clash between Captain America and Iron Man is drawing near, and the marketing push for the film is fixing to pick up.
The latest trailer for this summer's showdown between the two most prominent Avengers in their quest to protect the world in the best way possible gives some new footage but not so much as to spoil the movie.

Take a look at the latest Captain America: Civil War trailer and choose your side!

In it we get a little bit more of the back and forth between Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Captain America (Chris Evans) as they discuss the idea of being "put in check".
Some new shots of Falcon (Anthony Mackie), and what could lead to a pretty awesome fight between Captain America and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman).

While Tony Stark was against being sanctioned by a government entity after revealing that he was Iron Man, it seems that he has now changed his tune as some of the latest catastrophic events that have plagued the planet can be directly tied to the team and/or their affiliates.

The fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. at the hands of Hydra is one that caused legit concern to the government as sleeper enemy agents were heavily behind defensive lines. Not only that but there were three huge Hellicariers that were poised to eliminate targets who were considered a threat even before they had a chance to manifest via their powers or intent awakened crashed in Washington D.C causing great property and human damage. Captain America was a principal protagonist in this war that has been going on for over the better half of a century.

Another event that had terrible consequences was the creation of the Ultron Defensive Program which in turn led to the artificial intelligence program to evolve and become sentient.
This turn of events caused the Sokovia incident which saw Ultron levitate the city in his attempt to use as a meteoric missile to impact the Earth and wipe out human existence. Ultron's plan was thwarted b the Avengers but not without massive collateral damage.
These events can be tied directly to Tony Stark, whom in his attempt to protect the world with an army of "Iron Man" drones, unwillingly created Ultron.

Now Steve Rogers will stand his ground in his opposition of being sanctioned by the government as he has discovered that the evil organization Hydra could very well be infiltrated deep within and might be in a committee that would dictate the actions of the Avengers in future events.

Tony Stark, on the other hand, feels that having an overruling committee that can rationally call the actions to be taken in the case of new unforeseen conflicts.

Batman v. Superman Supercut Trailer v.4

Image: DC/Warner Bros.

Over the past week, small pieces of new footage for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice has popped up either on foreign commercials or local talk shows. Although that footage on it's own might not seem like a big deal, when stitched together with the rest of the footage it makes for an extraordinarly and exciting Supercut Trailer that I am sure most of you will enjoy.

A couple of weeks back, Flickering Myth decided to make a compilation of all the footage in an educated chronological order. This time however, YouTube user M1llion has gathered some of the newest released snippets and made his own updated edit.
Give it a look.

Footage: DC/Warner Bros. - Edit: M1llion

It seems that now more than ever, film studios have fallen prey to an unfortunate trend of showing some of their best set pieces, jokes or surprise twists in the trailers that promote their blockbuster movies.
What is that you say? "Trailers are supposed to show awesome, interesting content from the film to peak the general public's curiosity and get them interested!"
Well yes, you do have a point, but would you still be interested when by mistake a character or the plot is given away in a trailer? Sometimes those things happen, not because the director or the people behind the film wanted to, but because it regrettably was out of their hands. Studios from time to time hire outside companies to cut and throw together an intriguing and awesome trailer to gather momentum for when the film premieres. Unfortunately, communication between the studios, directors, producers and the likes is sometimes lacking, either because the work on the film is still ongoing or some other important issues that have to be resolved. Either way, it is a terrible thing when that happens for both, the fans and the people working day and night trying to make a film that would please fans and keep their business running. In the meantime, if you do not care for spoilers than all the power to you and let us delve into this amazing period where superheroes are brought to life and grace the silver screen like never before.

So far, I personally do not know how much of the movie has been given away with all the trailers released since the film will have a runtime of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Eleven minutes of trailers surely does not seem like a big deal but when it is compiled into a trailer and all the pieces connect somewhat flawlessly it does make you think, "did i already see the whole movie, or are the best parts still to come?"

Batman v. Superman is set to premiere on March 25, 2016 in North America and will have a running time of two hours and thirty one minutes (2h 31mins) along with a PG-13 rating.

Captain America: Civil War Trailer 2 Is Finally Here And It Is AMAZING!

It's finally here ladies and gentleman! The second trailer for Marvel's latest and highly anticipated film, Captain America: Civil War was released today. After hardly getting any new footage after the Super Bowl commercial, fans have been eagerly waiting for any new glimpses of the players taking part in this battle that splits The Avengers into two factions and pits them against each other.

While The Avengers were assembled to combat and prevent any and all threats to earth and it's people, the team has managed to do just that, except the destruction has unfortunately not been kept to a minimum. Three major disasters have taken place that The Avengers were involved in either directly or indirectly, and the world seems to want someone be held accountable

This new trailer has a good deal of new footage and gives us a bit better insight into what turns these former "friends" against each other. Along with the original roster sans Bruce Banner/Hulk and Thor, the whole team is here with a couple of new and spectacular allies lending a helping hand to try to shift the tide of the battle.

Check out the trailer and make sure to stay 'til then end for a sensational surprise!

Batman v. Superman Final Trailer

With just a little over a month to go before Batman v. Superman premieres, Warner Brothers has released the final trailer and let me just say, wow!

The trailer shows a more hands on Alfred, assisting and guiding the Caped Crusader a la Jarvis. After helping him infiltrate the room, in what looks almost like a scene taken straight out of Rocksteady's Arkham video games series, Batman jumps into action and goes to work on a group of armed thugs who prove that even with massive fire power are no match for The Batman. The fight scene depicts a more ruthless, no holds-barred Dark Knight doing whatever it takes to keep his city safe of criminals or any threats, which in turn leads to a statement he makes to Alfred and we see his views on Superman.

Along with Batman's skills and some scenes pertaining to his and Superman's face off, we get a glimpse of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman jumping into action. Neverless, take a look for yourself and witness the final trailer before The Dark Knight and The Man of Steel finally meet for the first time in live cinematic history.
