About

A few years ago, I came upon an awesome short fan-film produced by a talented and resourceful team of people, that unfortunately, was not getting the love and respect i felt it deserved on a website that was said to celebrate all things regarding comic book movies. Since said site "allowed/allows" it's members to contribute i decided to make an account and share this awesome fan-film with fellow fans of all things comic books. Not surprisingly the post had an awesome reception amongst fellow enthusiasts. The mere fact that i was able to share this incredible video to a positive wave of praise awoke a feeling of needing to keep my ears and eyes open for any new projects from talented people whose awesome work was not being showcased or appreciated to a greater extent.

Not long into posting some great and interesting fan-films portraying some of my favorite fictional characters I eventually started writing about big studio projects. No inside scoops, no first hand interviews, just the "reporting" of a recently guy who had a little too much time on his hands and had decided that an article should consist of more than a couple of original sentences. After gaining a couple of "faithful followers" I delved a bit more and more into wrting. I soon started scouring the web and being almost glued to the computer trying to pick up a new developments or something in that regard on projects as soon as they were made public or reported on. After a while I even surprised myself when I happened to come upon a couple of inadverdent leaks that unexplicably no one else had gotten to them.

Not long after that, I became disenchanted and that new rush I felt when writing news, rumours, and the likes started dissipating. The reason for that was simple, the so called editors of the site I contributed to started stealing not only my articles, but those of several other users contributions. Now granted, it was clearly stated that articles that were not up par regarding spelling, sentence structuring, and/or citing credible sources, would be deleted. Also, any articles containing only a couple of original lines and the rest a copy and paste job would not be tolerated. Above all though, the main thing that was extremely prohibited was to never plagiarize. All of those rules were time and time again broken by those "editors".

At least once a day we would question why our articles would mysteriously disappear, yet only to pop up again 5-10 minutes later with only the sentence sequence switched up. The answer? None, the editors would simply delete our comments and/or claim a small, insignificant detail. A small capitalization error was enough to have your article taken over by them. Other times they would just create ghost articles so that they would claim to have the time stamp before someone would pick up a story and have it written well before them. With all the bs going on i decided  to take  screenshots of the claims posted by other contribuitors and of every single one of the new articles that i created.

Eventually, I grew tired of being helpless and having our articles being taken over with little change to the content and our complaints being swept to the side that i pretty much stopped visiting the site and the desire to write waned. Every now and then some news would come out, a few incredible fan projects, awesome art that I felt should be appreciated by more people, which led to me creating this blog. Soon after though, I got a job and the free time I had was gone. Which in turn was a good thing, because for some reason or another I got a case of writer's block. Now, with almost no free time and the aforementioned writer's block case I struggled and decided that until i felt competent enough the posting would resume. After all, I am not a certified journalist, I'm just a regular guy who happens to enjoy seeing his favorite characters being brought to life be it as a 5-10 minute fan made short, or a full length feature film by major studios.

With that being said, most of the stuff posted here will all be gathered from sites which are deemed reliable, along with some personal input that might help flesh out the content, along with the occasional editorial.

I'd like to thank anyone in advance for visiting this blog and maybe helping share some of the content here that may be considered interesting.
